Adventure never stops: experence the adrenaline rush of white-water rafting on river Tara in the deepest canyon of Europe and the thrill of rappelling down waterfalls, swimming in crystal-clear pools, and sliding down natural water slides in the Hrcavka canyon that was conquered a few years ago. Spend two nights at our camp Encijan, located in the heart of the Tara river canyon, try authentic traditional cuisine, relax and recharge amidst breathaking natural surroundings. Join us for an unforgettable journey where adventure knows no bounds.

After arrival to the border Hum-Scepan Polje in prearranged time, in the afternoon hours between 4 pm-6 pm, the next is half hour drive through the pleasant ambient of Tara River Canyon to the place called Brstanovica which is also the starting point for Rafting. Our Camp is also located there. For all the participants of this Arrangement is secured parking line for your personal cars. After arrival to the Camp and welcome drink and accommodation to the in the cottages – bungalows and introducing our camp and environment. At 8 pm a dinner will be served. On the menu are our local specialities such as veal, lamb, homemade cheese, ham, etc). A night will be continued with the damp fire and traditional live music and you may enjoy as much and as long as you want.

After breakfast and preparations till to 11:30 am (everyone gets rafting gear, wet suit, boots, life jacket, helmet, paddle) rafting follows along most exciting part of Tara River. Rafting lasts around 2-3 hrs with the brakes for photo safari, swimming and refreshment. From the end point of rafting, Šćepan Polje, Mouth of rivers Tara and Piva, we set back by our 4×4 vehicles to our base camp, where lunch awaits us.(On the menu are local ethno specialties: roasted veal, fish and other dishes of ethno cuisine…). After lunch afternoon leisure, swimming, fishing hike around the camp and upon request visit to old suspension bridge. Around 9 pm diner by the camp fire and afterwards all evening leisure, music “live”, etc.

After breakfast until 7 am, packing and preparation for the canyoning tour and departure to visit the NP "Sutjeska", to the canyon of the river Hrčavka, the last discovered and still insufficiently explored canyon in this area. Upon arrival, distribution of equipment for canyoning follows and after the introductory instructions, we enter the canyon where this fantastic and unforgettable experience begins. The passage through the canyon itself takes between 4 - 6 hours, depending on the physical and mental fitness of the participants. In the canyon itself, you will encounter attractive obstacles, water slides, waterfalls, cascades, straits, and you will need adequate mountaineering equipment to overcome some of them.
Also, at some locations, we will take breaks to relax and take photos of this unusual and above all attractive location. After leaving the canyon, a picnic lunch is planned, and return to Tjentište by off-road vehicles is planned around 5 pm, with the possibility of a tour of the memorial - historical complex of the Battle of Sutjeska until 6 pm, followed by transfer of all participants to Foča, where the arrangement ends.
You can also expand this arrangement with an additional night at our camp Encijan in a unique oasis of peace and hedonism in the half-board variant, or combine it with all other arrangements from our offer.

Our traditional homemade cuisine and organic food prepared at our Camp Encijan, which we offer as part of our packages, is another reason why most of our long term and satisfied guests wish to visit us again.

Our menu offers everything … From a hot doughnuts and home-made bread baked in a wood stove, all kinds of milk products such as home-made cow and goat cheese, pure mountain honey, fresh trout and home-made ham and prosciutto, lamb and goat meat made under metal pan and everything else what is characteristic for our country.

Breakfast in our camp includes:

Hot donuts, fritters, Homemade bread baked under the iron lid, Smoked ham form “Njegusi”, and homemade bakon, Cheese and sour cream form shepherds cottages, Fresh milk and honey, Eggs and different omelets with side dishes, Hand-made jams , marmalade and butter, Homemade cheese, sausages and pates

Lunch in the camp includes:

Rafter’s veal soup, Homemade bread baked under the iron pane, Seasonal salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber and cabbage), Hot corn doughnuts, Pies baked under the iron lid, Veal or lamb with potatoes and vegetables cooked under the iron lid, “Stuffed” stored in Rastan il’ sauerkraut with smoked meats and ribs, Charlotte, tulumbe or hurmašice.

Dinner in the camp includes:

Rafter’s veal soup, Homemade bread baked under the iron pane, Baked potato slices attached with cottage cheese and cream cheese, Njeguški ham and homemade roast, Hot corn projarice, Gibanica baked under a baking lid, Grilled peppers in a sauce of garlic and rosemary, A young veal cooked in “cooked”, Brown trout or grayling, Veal stew with prunes, Baklava, tulumbe or hurmašice.

Learn about the Accommodation

Camp Encijan has capacity of 100 beds in 15 mountain huts (bungalows). All huts are built entirely from natural materials, breathable and comfortable. Furniture within the bungalow is new.

Two mountain houses – chalets (each 55 m2) are fully furnished with new furniture and comprise of bathroom, kitchen and a spacious living room on the ground floor and two double bedrooms in the attic.

Bungalows, terraces, the beaches for sunbathing and swimming, many deck chairs and swing chairs that are a few meters from the river … All of these will make your stay at the camp more comfortable and enjoyable.

We are located at a starting point for rafting, place is called Brštanovica.

Tourists should come to Šćepan Polje, that is the official B&H – MNE border crossing.We own a parking lot, you can leave your car or RV there, It will be safe. We will pick you up at Šćepan Polje and transport you to our camp. If you are in Foča, you can come to our agency, located in Krajiška 2. Agency is located in the city center, in a passage below the Mozzart restaurant.

You can pay with cash upon your arrival to our camp, that will not be a problem. Many passengers, backpackers and wanderers use this option because It is much easier.

Depends, in May, water level is very high, so you will have to come prepared, physically. In June and July, water levels are medium, so you don’t have to worry, It will not be hard, you can even bring kids. August and September- water level is low, perfect for family rafting.

You do not need to have previous experience, our skippers will brief you on everything that you need to know.

Basically, like in every other adventure, it is a bit dangerous, but we take all precautionary measures and focus on your security. So do not worry too much and enjoy your vacation.

You will be on a boat with other tourists. When the number of passengers reaches eight, we will assign a skipper and you are ready to go.

You are ALLOWED to use your own GoPro and other cameras. You will not be charged, there are no fees.
