Overview
A weekend rafting tour for everyone who is in no rush and wants to spend more than one evening at the Encijan camp. The tour is a perfect blend of a rafting adventure in untouched nature, spectacular scenery, authentic home cooking, comfortable accommodation, recreation, entertainment, and a pleasant atmosphere, with hospitable staff at your service throughout your stay. The Tara River is an ideal rafting destination. The rapids of the Tara River rank from grade three to grade five on the international rafting scale, and when the water is high, they can even reach grade six.
Three days and two nights will be enough for you to enjoy the wonderful scenery, breathe in the healing air to your heart's content, and when night falls, savour the heart of the Tara River canyon beneath a magnificent sky brimming with stars.
Itinerary
Upon arriving at the Hum-Šćepan Polje border crossing at the approximate time agreed in advance, in the afternoon between 4 and 6 PM, a half-hour drive follows through the pleasant setting of the Tara River canyon to the locality of Brštanovica, which is also the starting point for rafting and the location of our Camp Encijan. At Brštanovica itself, secure parking for personal vehicles is provided for all participants. Upon arrival at the camp, after a welcome drink, guests are settled into the mountain cabins-bungalows and introduced to the camp and its surroundings. A shared dinner for all participants is scheduled for around 8 PM, with a menu of ethnic specialties from the local region (young lamb, veal, cheese, prosciutto, kajmak...), which then continues into an evening of socializing around the campfire with music in the pleasant atmosphere of the camp, deep into the night...
