D1 – A Day of Tara River Rafting

After picking up guests at the previously agreed location, such as our Encijan agency in Foča or our Camp Encijan located in the very heart of the Tara canyon, in the morning hours (recommended time between 9 and 10 AM), transport to the agreed destination follows. After arrival (each rafting participant receives the appropriate rafting equipment (wetsuit, boots, life jacket, helmet, and paddle), rafting follows along the most thrilling part of the Tara River, taking place on the river's most attractive section from Brštanovica to Šćepan Polje, lasting 2.5 to 3 hours, with breaks for photo-safari, swimming and refreshment, and stops along the way to visit the most remarkable parts of the canyon, such as the iciest tributary of the Tara River, the little Šipčanica stream, and so on... At the end of the rafting, at the Šćepan Polje border crossing, at the confluence of the Piva and Tara, around 3 PM there is an organized transfer of all participants by off-road vehicles back to the camp, where lunch is provided (the menu features young veal cooked under the sač, lamb, fish, and other ethnic specialties). After lunch, your package concludes. You can also extend this package with an additional overnight stay at our Camp Encijan in a unique oasis of peace and hedonism on a half-board basis, or combine it with any of the other packages from our offer.
