This unique day trip gives you the chance to explore the beauty of the Tara River canyon that you may never have had the opportunity to see before. If you love adrenaline and river rapids, join us along the most spectacular stretch of the Tara, from Brštanovica to Šćepan Polje. Beyond the rafting itself, you'll witness the breathtaking scenery surrounding you as you glide through this emerald-green jewel of a canyon. So what are you waiting for? The minimum number of participants required for this trip is 4. If your group is smaller than that, please kindly contact us so we can explore the possibility of combining you with other participants.
Itinerary
07:00 - Our agency's driver arrives in Kotor at the main bus station or at the previously agreed destination. From there the journey heads toward our base camp located in the very heart of the Tara River canyon, with beautiful landscapes to enjoy along the way. 11:00 - 11:30 - Arrival at our camp, a welcome drink, and after that a short introduction to paddling technique and safety procedures, which your guide (skipper) will explain to you. 12:00 - 3 PM - 4 PM - Rafting begins at Brštanovica through the famous Tara canyon toward Šćepan Polje, lasting 3-4 hours (depending on water levels), with short breaks for photography, refreshment, rock jumping and swimming, as well as a visit to Tara's coldest stream, the Šipčanica. You stop with short breaks at the most beautiful rapids and waterfalls. 3 PM - 4 PM - 5 PM - After rafting comes the return to our base camp, where a traditional organic lunch is served, and after lunch your package concludes and our driver will take you back to Kotor. You can also extend this package with an additional overnight stay at our Camp Encijan in a unique oasis of peace and hedonism on a half-board basis, or combine it with any of the other packages from our offer.
