But why not experience something completely different? Trade the beaches of Jaz and Ploče for a one-of-a-kind atmosphere that only the Tara River canyon can offer. Are you a lover of untouched nature, or perhaps an adrenaline junkie? This trip is a unique opportunity to enjoy and experience an incredible rafting adventure along the most spectacular stretch of the Tara River, from Brštanovica to Šćepan Polje. Rafting this emerald beauty, also known as the "Tear of Europe," will leave you breathless thanks to the nature surrounding you, the thrilling rapids and the sheer beauty of the canyon you'll pass through. Take a break at one of the stunning spots along the river, jump into the water from the cliffs overhanging it, and capture it all on camera, because an experience like this simply has to be immortalized.
Itinerary
07:00 - Our agency's driver arrives in Budva at the main bus station or at the previously agreed destination. From there the journey heads toward our base camp located in the very heart of the Tara River canyon, with beautiful surroundings to enjoy along the way. 11:00 - 11:30 - Arrival at our camp, a welcome drink, and after that a short introduction to paddling technique and safety procedures, which your guide (skipper) will explain to you. 12:00 - 3 PM - 4 PM - Rafting begins at Brštanovica through the famous Tara canyon toward Šćepan Polje, lasting 3-4 hours (depending on water levels), with short breaks for photography, refreshment, rock jumping and swimming, as well as a visit to Tara's coldest stream, the Šipčanica. You stop with short breaks at the most beautiful rapids and waterfalls. 3 PM - 4 PM - 5 PM - After rafting comes the return to our base camp, where a traditional organic lunch is served, and after lunch your package concludes and our driver will take you back to Budva. You can also extend this package with an additional overnight stay at our Camp Encijan in a unique oasis of peace and hedonism on a half-board basis, or combine it with any of the other packages from our offer.
