D12 – Zip Line at Piva Lake

Overview
If you love excitement and adventure, then the zip line is the perfect choice for you. This activity gives you a unique opportunity to "fly" through stunning nature while the magical emerald waters of Piva Lake, the largest reservoir in the Balkans, glide beneath you. At 1,400 m in length, this is the longest zip line in Montenegro.
This is a one-of-a-kind chance to feel a breath of freedom as you soar above the lake, catching a glimpse of the bridge across Piva Lake out of the corner of your eye. An unforgettable bird's-eye view of the lake and its surroundings begins the moment your feet leave the platform. You'll also have the chance to visit one of the largest hydroelectric power plants in the Balkans, Mratinje, and take in the impressive view of the Piva River canyon from its 220 m high dam.
Itinerary
After meeting our guests at a previously agreed location, such as our Encijan agency in the town of Foča or our camp in the very heart of the Tara canyon in the morning hours (recommended time between 9 and 10 a.m.), we set off across Šćepan Polje towards our destination, the small mountain town of Plužine, which lies right on the shore of Piva Lake. Upon arriving at our destination, we prepare for this phenomenal sports and recreational activity. Clip on the cable and enjoy a five-minute flight and the view of the emerald Piva Lake stretching out beneath you as you safely glide from one side of the lake to the other. If one flight isn't enough for you, you can repeat it as many times as you like (for an additional fee, of course). After your adventure, refreshments and lunch follow at a nearby ethno restaurant, where you can enjoy the delights of traditional cuisine. After resting, we slowly head back to the starting point, where this tour comes to an end. At this destination you can also experience a cruise on Piva Lake, which we warmly recommend. You can also extend this tour with an additional overnight stay at our Encijan camp, in a unique oasis of peace and hedonism on a half-board basis, or combine it with any of the other tours from our offer.
