Overview
Tired of everyday life? Surrender to an exciting ride in our off-road vehicles and experience unforgettable moments in the unique natural setting of one of the last preserved primeval forests in Europe. You'll have the chance to see a world rich in diverse flora and fauna, and to feel and experience the unique wild beauty of these lands. The Perućica primeval forest is home to more than 170 species of trees and shrubs, as well as over 1,000 species of herbaceous plants, most of which are classified as endemic. This area is strictly protected in order to preserve its pristine beauty. The view from the forest lookout points over the valleys and mountains within Sutjeska National Park will leave you breathless. The view from the Dragoš Sedlo lookout of the Skakavac waterfall, which plunges from a height of 75 meters, makes the observer feel fortunate to be, at least for a moment, part of this otherworldly nature—rich and diverse, preserved and untouched for some future generations.

Itinerary
We welcome guests at an agreed location, such as our Encijan agency in the town of Foča or our camp in the very heart of the Tara canyon, in the morning (the recommended time is between 9am and 10am). After arrival, we pack and prepare to set off for a visit to the Perućica primeval forest, the largest old-growth forest reserve in Europe. We drive by off-road vehicles to the "Dragoš Sedlo" viewpoint at 1306 m above sea level, where, after parking the vehicles, we have the chance to enter the forest itself up to a nearby viewpoint, from which we can photograph the "Skakavac" waterfall in the heart of the forest. After leaving the Perućica forest, a fifteen-minute drive follows, bringing us to the "Prijevor" viewpoint at 1668 m above sea level, from where the view opens up onto the surrounding mountains dominated by Maglić, which at 2386 m above sea level is the highest mountain in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as Zelengora and Volujak. Upon arrival at Prijevor, an easy one-hour trekking tour across the plateau is planned, with a visit to the old shepherd huts located nearby, after which there is a shared picnic lunch out in nature. The return to Tjentište by off-road vehicles is planned for around 4pm, with the option of visiting the memorial-historical complex of the Battle of Sutjeska until 5pm, after which all tour participants are transferred to Foča by 6pm, where the tour comes to an end. You can also extend this tour with an additional overnight stay at our Encijan camp, a unique oasis of peace and hedonism on a half-board basis, or combine it with any of the other tours from our offer.
